Activating TIDE Account 6 Tips for First-Time Users: 1.Activation Emails are sent from AIRAST-DoNotReply@airast.org. The activation link expires in 30 days. 2.Your password must be eight characters long and have at least three of the following: one lowercase alphabetic character, one uppercase alphabetic character, one number, and one special character %, #, or !.

Discrepancies 40 TIDE stores the list of tests each student takes Students may not participate in a test, resulting in a discrepancy You assign a code to explain the discrepancy Special CodeDescription Absent - Unexcused Student was not present during any part of the test administration period and was not able to make up the test. The Non-Participation code should only be applied to all subjects and for all tests (CAT, Performance Task, or Paper Form) for which the student was absent. Absent - ExcusedStudent was not present during any part of the test administration period and was not able to make up the test. The Non-Participation code should only be applied to all subjects and for all tests (CAT, Performance Task, or Paper Form) for which the student was absent. New Non-English Proficient Student is an English language learner (ELL) and was first enrolled in the United Stated between May 2 of the previous spring and May 1 of the current school year. The Non-Participation code should only be applied to the ELA (CAT and Performance Task or Paper Form). Refusal - StudentStudent chose to give up during testing or refused to start the test. The Non- Participation code should be applied to all subjects and for all tests (CAT, Performance Task, or Paper Form). Refusal - ParentA parent or legal guardian has requested that the student not take the test. The Non- Participation code should be applied to all subjects and for all tests (CAT, Performance Task, or Paper Form). MedicalStudent is unable to test during the testing window due to an unanticipated medical circumstance. The Non-Participation code should only be applied to all subjects and for all tests (CAT, Performance Task, or Paper Form) for which the student was medically excused. Student Not Eligible – F1 Visa The student is classified as an international student and is not eligible to take the Smarter Balanced Math or ELA test. The Non-Participation code should be applied to all subjects and for all tests (CAT, Performance Task, or Paper Form). Student Not Eligible – Other The student is not eligible to take the Smarter Math or ELA test due to approved circumstances. Use of this code must be reviewed and approved by your district SDDOE Assessment Contact. The Non-Participation code should only be applied to all subjects and for all tests (CAT, Performance Task, or Paper Form) for which was approved for use by the SDDOE.
