Discontent = Ungrateful “The person with a discontented heart has the attitude that everything he does for God is too much, and everything God does for him is too little.”

Thankfully enjoying what some don’t want you to enjoy (Galatians 2:4) …some false brothers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves. (1 Timothy 4:3-4) They (some false teachers) forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. {4} For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving. (1 Corinthians 10:30-31) If I take part in the meal with thankfulness, why am I denounced because of something I thank God for? {31} So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Thankfully enjoying God’s provision THANKFULLY ENJOY BARE NECESSITIES (2 Corinthians 9:12) This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. THANKFULLY ENJOY WEALTH (1 Timothy 6:17-18) Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. {18} Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. CONTENTMENT (Philippians 4:10-13) …I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. {12} I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. {13} I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
