What does it mean? Believing in the value and services you provide Connecting your mission to your work Demonstrating conviction for your products and services Being “called to serve” as a financial representative/advisor

What did it mean to Al Granum? Recognizing and sharing the benefits of the career Sharing his knowledge with the industry Surrounding himself with individuals who also felt called to serve He recited this poem often as a reminder of how we can change people’s lives with the value we provide ZACH – can we embed video of him reading Touch of the Master’s Hand??

Why did it work? When you connect your work with your purpose, it becomes less like work. Having clarity of purpose makes it easier to manage the rejection. Purpose helps you focus on the service we offer and the difference we can make in people’s lives.

How can Power of Purpose help you? 1. Referrals! If you believe in what you do, asking for introductions as a service to your clients. 2. Energy and clarity of purpose is contagious – your clients and staff will feel it. 3. Doing the right thing. Once you connect to the importance of what we do, you want to make the right recommendations every time.

Questions to Discuss How do you demonstrate your belief in the products/services we offer? Where do you believe you add the most value with your clients? Have you had a claim? If so, how does that help you connect to your purpose? What is your key take-away from today’s discussion?
