COURSE REQUIREMENTS regular attendance (6 absences allowed) bringing RB and coursebook to class active participation preparing and role-playing a business meeting two progress tests and/or exam

FINAL GRADE based on continuous assessment two preliminary tests/final written exam business meeting oral exam* * students aspiring to grade A are expected to read and be able to discuss all of the material in required literature

WRITTEN EXAM recognition of business terms and concepts active use of collocations, key vocabulary reading comprehension graph description business report ORAL EXAM speaking skills: coherent presentation and discussion of a business topic using relevant specialist vocabulary fluency/accuracy (→B2)

USEFUL TIPS study continually throughout the semester plan ahead (PTs) contact the student tutor if you have problems with reading/understanding texts

IF READING IS DIFFICULT: read the text to understand it in Croatian retell the text in Croatian translate the whole text into Croatian sentence by sentence identify collocations, key business terms in each sentence find definitions for business terms make a list of collocations for each text you read do vocabulary tasks before or after the text prepare a text following the tips above and contact the teacher / student tutor to arrange a study feedback session
