6 COURSE REQUIREMENTS regular attendance (6 absences allowed) bringing RB and coursebook to class active participation preparing and role-playing a business meeting two progress tests and/or exam

8 FINAL GRADE based on continuous assessment two preliminary tests/final written exam business meeting oral exam* * students aspiring to grade A are expected to read and be able to discuss all of the material in required literature

9 WRITTEN EXAM recognition of business terms and concepts active use of collocations, key vocabulary reading comprehension graph description business report ORAL EXAM speaking skills: coherent presentation and discussion of a business topic using relevant specialist vocabulary fluency/accuracy (→B2)

10 USEFUL TIPS study continually throughout the semester plan ahead (PTs) contact the student tutor if you have problems with reading/understanding texts

11 IF READING IS DIFFICULT:  read the text to understand it in Croatian  retell the text in Croatian  translate the whole text into Croatian sentence by sentence  identify collocations, key business terms in each sentence  find definitions for business terms  make a list of collocations for each text you read  do vocabulary tasks before or after the text prepare a text following the tips above and contact the teacher / student tutor to arrange a study feedback session
