2. Anyone that enters the Portfolio must first be authenticated in the NYU system. Authentication automatically determines if the person is faculty or a student.

3. When a Faculty Partner logs in, they can view their list of Student Portfolios in one of two ways – with or without Comment Cards. You will learn about Comment Cards later in this presentation.

7. In this example the student was required to upload a document (Step 1), write a brief reflection (Step 2) and select which professional values they displayed (Step 3). 10. Students are always able to update assignments – even ones that have already been completed. Student’s View of their Portfolio

11. Students can meet with their Faculty Partner to discuss any comment cards they may receive. An email notification is sent to the student if someone files a card on their behalf. Student View of a Comment Card

12. Students can always access any Comment Cards they have received – from either the current or past years – using the View Card History tab. Once here, clicking on each individual icon will open the card in a new window. Student’s History of Comment Cards

16. There is also a Help tab available to Faculty Partners for help with navigating the Portfolio and other technological issues.
