Romanias main agriculture mainly consists of wheat, corn, barley, sugar beets, sunflower seed, potatoes, grapes and sheep. Its main industries are textiles, footwear, light machinery, mining, timber, petroleum refining, chemicals and food processing

The armistice of november 11 th 1918 gave romania vast territories from Russia and the Austro-hungarian empire,doubling its size. During world war 2 Romania was reorganised along fascist lines. Around 270,000 jews altogether were massacred in fascist Romania
