4
Marked mythology tests Analyzed sketch maps Analyzed results Wrote up entire thesis
5
What do I have left to do? Changes to thesis that Edwin suggests Submit!
6
When am I going to submit? 21 or 22 February – two weeks from now
7
What were my results? The lecture group learned the mythology relationships better than the VR groups VR wasn’t more interesting or fun than the lecture In fact, in some cases VR was more scary and distressing than the lecture
8
More results Sketch maps were really bad But this didn’t correlate to learning
9
More results HMD made people get sick Desktop worked just as well as HMD Not having a map while using the HMD was scary and distressing But having a map didn’t help learning or wayfinding
10
Final results Women were better at wayfinding Better wayfinding meant worse learning Presence didn’t relate to anything important More presence = more enjoyment More experience = more presence
