9.  Catholics read the Bible: CONTEXTUALLY  This means, we read searching for religious truth, but take in to account that the time period, geographical area, oral tradition and inspired writers all have a significant effect on Scripture.  ( Your CONTEXT CLUE, IS CONTEXT!)  To read FUNDAMENTALLY is to take the Bible LITERALLY. Catholics do not read scripture from a fundamentalist perspective.
