3. The Task Your job is to collect data about the moon. Your crew of astronauts will work as a team to collect this scientific information. You will need to show your data sheet to mission control (teacher). Data collection:  Distance from the earth (How many kilometers?)  Diameter (What is the distance across the moon?)  Surface (What is the surface of the moon like?)  Temperature (What is the temperature on the moon?)  Atmosphere (Does the moon have an atmosphere?)  Appearance (Why does the moon appear to change its shape?)  Other interesting facts (special features, Does it have volcanoes, craters, mountains, etc.?)
