2. The Rising Stars Foundation is a not for profit organization that offers the opportunity for young dancers to learn and experience the dynamics of instructing and educating in the world of dance. They help create new student teachers and prepare them with hands on experience through education, choreography and performance all while in a supervised setting.

3.  The RSF needed help raising funds for their upcoming performance at Downtown Disney. We worked on the following:  Budgeting  Planning  Organizing  Costuming  Show Preparations  Ticket Sales In the time that I worked with the RSF, they had a bake sale, held a dance camp, sold jewelry and hand made dolls that were donated to the organization. These three quick fundraisers brought in over $1900.

5.  The RSF has a storage unit full of costumes that they use for their performances. The costumes needed to be cleaned and inventoried. We washed and cleaned over 500 costumes in the time that I was helping.

7.  The Rising Stars Foundation started rehearsals for the upcoming performances, and I helped with backstage productions and ticket sales.

8.  The Rising Stars Foundation has met their financial goals for their trip to Disney. They will be attending two college based workshops and performing on the Disney Waterfront Stage on June 18 & 19. They raised over $10,000 this school year for this trip.
