EARNING CREDIT AT UT AUSTIN A score of 4 or 5 on the AP exam or a score of 6 or 7 on the IB HL exam will give you credit for Chemistry 301, 302, and 204 (This is chemistry for science majors with a lab credit) A score of 4 or 5 on the IB HL exam will give your credit for Chemistry 304K and 305 (5 only) (This is chemistry for non-science majors) Be sure to research the credit policies of the schools you are applying to.
