6 Conceptualization  Gives sense of order, constancy, and regularity to the world

7 Central Traits  A characteristic that has a strong effect on our overall evaluation of a person

8 Halo Effect  Belief that when an individual possesses one trait, we assume they possess certain other traits. (we make this judgment even as young as nursery school).  Can be both positive or negative example of positive- Charisma

9 Primacy  First impressions set the tone for future interaction and beliefs  Items learned first will be interfere with those most recently learned

10 Recency  Tendency to be influenced by what we just observed
