2. Health and safety safety
Make sure your you're safe when using a Bunsen burner. Make sure
you use all the correct equipment including ;
Goggles
Heat proof mat
Heat proof gloves
Rubber pipe
Science apron
Bunsen burner
you can change the flame to a safety flam a big orange flame or a small
blue flame . Don't turn on the gas until you have the match or litter over
the tip of the Bunsen burner .

3. How to use a Bunsen burner ?
Place the Bunsen burner on the mat
Put the rubber pipe on the gas tap ( TURNED OFF )
Put the match or litter on the tip of the Bunsen burner and turn the gas tap on ( make sure a adult lights you Bunsen burner )
when the Bunsen burner is lit use it for your experiment
