Body Composition The term used to refer to the percentage of fat, muscle, and bone in the body. Skin fold calibers, hydrostatic weighing

Flexibility The ability to move joints and use muscles through their full range of motion. Helps reduce injuries Stretching, Yoga, Gymnastics, Dance, Cheerleading Dynamic vs Static Stretching

Muscular Endurance The ability for a muscle to work against a resistance for an extended period of time Football, weightlifting with high repetitions and low weight, Swimming, Elipitical

Muscular Strength The ability of a muscle to exert force for a brief period of time. Weightlifting with high weights and low repetition, pull up, push ups, wall sits, lunges, picking up heavy objects

Cardiovascular Endurance The ability of the heart, lungs and blood vessels to deliver oxygen to working muscles and tissues during physical activity for a long period of time. Running, Biking, Rollerblading, Walking, High intensity sports (basketball, soccer, handball)
