3.  Oldest of six children in my family- daughter of a teacher  Urban education with combination of IPS and parochial schools  BS in Chemistry from Purdue  After working for 8 years in research and industry jobs – obtained secondary science and math teaching license.  Taught students at Arsenal Tech High School  After two babies – had to give up classroom  Have worked a variety of part time positions related to science education – most recently instructional coach for T2T and Woodrow Wilson Fellows programs at IUPUI.  Also volunteer at my children’s schools as part time science instructor
