Agenda Provide overview of CENIC and NLR’s Optical Networks. Define the tools and processes used to support these networks. Identify some of the challenges in supporting large optical networks.

Commissioning Data Reports Provides detailed analysis of optical parameters –Run prior to and after maintenances and service interruptions

Optical Spectrum Analyzer Isolate specific wavelengths across a composite signal Identify bad filters / broken transmitters / bad connections
