What is this class about? Chemistry Physics Astronomy

What work is expected? Read from text, take notes, answer questions. Perform labs and write them up. Read articles about science. Take tests. Do one independent research project.

What’s this about a project? There are one project this year. They are independent research projects. Students are given class and homework time to work on them. They will take 8 - 15 hours, depending. The best project is one that captures the student’s interest. Parents may assist.

What are grades based on? Homework, Classwork and Project 60% Tests and Discussions 40%

How do I know my student’s grade? Parent portal. Password the same as last year. Set automatic grade report. See Anna in the office if you forgot your password. See me if you do not have Internet access.
