Basic Rules and Objectives of Play RULES 6 people per side Maximum 3 contacts per side No double contacts No carries or lifts Block does not count as a hit No touching the net during play No crossing the centre line with more than a foot KEY OBJECTIVES Pass, set and score Play defense versus the opponent Keep the ball off of the floor Win the best of 5 sets. First 4 sets are to 25 points. Fifth set to 15 points. You must win by two points.
