UNCLASSIFIED The POLAD Reserve Corps is a cadre of experienced State Department officers, drawn from both the Foreign Service and Civil Service, who volunteer to be available for deployment to provide regional and functional expertise to U.S. military forces on short-term operational missions, exercises and other activities.
