SIMILAR DESIGN STUDIO A similar design studio to us is Distant Future animation studios as it contains only six people and their job roles are: Animation director, Creative director, Head of visuals effects, CG artist, Production manager and Motion graphics expert. The reason why we chose this studio is because the job roles of the individuals that work at this studio match our skill set given by a questionnaire on the BBC website. WHAT SKILLS YOU’LL NEED FOR EACH JOB ROLE The skills you need to be a animation director are IT skills, art skills, 3D modelling skills, a good imagination, familiar with animation software and concept design. The skills you will need to be a production manager are organizational skills, time management, management skills, good drawing skills and concept design, the ability to visualise what the characters will do and story writing skills. The skills you will need to be a CG artist are IT skills, communication skills, the ability to visualise 3D objects and have a strong sense of scale, form, weight and volume. The skills you will need to be a Creative Director are a creative imagination, have good drawing skills, wide knowledge of texture and design. The skills you will need to be the head of visuals are a vast knowledge of animation, green screens and motion capture, creative imagination, organization skills and leader skills. The skills you will need to be a motion graphics expert are a vast knowledge of motion graphics, the ability to visualise movement and kinetic energy, a creative imagination.

4. OUR STUDIO WORKERS Our studio name is Acumen animation studios. We chose this name because Acumen means the ability to make good judgements and quick decisions. The Jobs each of us have are: Ben would be working as the animation director. Josef would be working as the production manager. Jack and Josie would be working as creative directors. The jobs we cannot fill are CG artist, head of visuals and motion graphics expert.
