3. Click on the Create tab

4. Click on the Query Design button

5. Add the Sites table and Close

6. Double-click on Code to include it in the query You could also drag it down into the first column

7. The Code criteria should be OC or AS

8. Run the query…

9. … to check that you only see OC and AS

10. Return to Design View

11. Also use Country, Current ~Area, Potential Area

12. Click in the Field row of the next available column

13. Type Growth:[Potential Area]-[Current Area] You always need square brackets around fieldnames that have spaces in

14. Run the query…

15. … and check the maths Does Growth = Potential Area – Current Area for each field?

16. Back to Design View…

17. … and set Growth to be sorted in ascending order This can also be done in the Report stage

18. Run the query to check it

19. Save the query…

20. …with a suitable name e.g. Q43…

21. … and close
