The Interval Mode  The Interval mode can be used to measure the time through an individual Photogate or the time between two Photogates  Connect one of the Photogates to the timer  Select the “Interval” mode  Turn on just light “A”  This will measure the time through Photogate “A”  Pass your finger through the Photogate  Turn on just light “B” for time through just “B”

7. Interval Through A & B  Select “Interval” mode  Turn both the “A” & “B” lights on  Pass your finger through the Photogates

8. Interval Through A & B  The CPO Timer will also record the time trough just “A” & “B” simultaneously  Turn both lights off  Turn on just “A” & then just “B”

9. Frequency Mode  The CPO Timer determines frequency by using the Photogates or the Sound & Wave Machine  The CPO Timer records two different frequencies simultaneously

10. Period Mode  The CPO Timer determines period by using the Photogates or the Sound & Wave Machine  The Timer updates the period every other cycle  The CPO Timer can monitor two different periods simultaneously

11. Counter Mode  This mode counts every time the light beam is broken  The CPO Timer can monitor two different Photogates simultaneously
