CDMHA Center for Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance (CDMHA) –A collaborative training, research and information forum in areas vital to disaster preparedness, mitigation and response. –Partners include the University of South Florida and the United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM). Built on the concept of merging University strengths in education and research with the growing need to support all public sectors in Disasters.

March 24, 2000 CEPREDENAC: CEPREDENAC, Centro de Coordinacion para la Prevencion de los Disastres Naturales en America Central Requested assistance in developing a more formal relationship with businesses, and public/private sector actors to assist in promoting disaster education, mitigation and relief coordination.

March 24, 2000 CDMHA Objectives For This Meeting Bring the most experienced professionals from the private/public sectors to the table. Provide the objective and inclusive and politically neutral environment of a University setting Develop a data driven evidence based approach to disaster response which includes the private sector as a major partner. Provide transparent and quality information to make a difference in disaster response in the Americas.
