A torque is produced when a force is applied with “leverage.” – Ex. You use leverage when you pull a nail from a piece of wood with a hammer. The longer the hammer, the greater the leverage. TORQUE

An object rotating about an axis tends to keep rotating about that axis.. Rotational Inertia – The resistance of an object to change in its rotational motion. – As an object moves closer to the center, the rotational velocity increases. ROTATIONAL INERTIA
