18
Phase III Post Production Add titles Add background title music? Add transitions and effects Add credits and citations Peer/instructor review? Final mix, polishing Export the final file
19
Phase IV Performance/Distribution Burn a DVD for distribution Showing in-class, in-school, in-community Web-casting, web-streaming Community TV Note: invite community members to the performance recording
20
Green Screen Resources You need a solid color wall and a software program that allows chroma key editing It is not important that the wall be "green" only that it be mono-color, well lit and have as few shadows as possible. Movies and weather announcers tend to use a particular shade of green or blue because it is distinct and not commonly worn. A good digital video camera A teacher willing to work with you
21
Green Screen Tips Make sure your background is lit evenly Pay attention to coloring of subject’s clothing Try to use a digital video camera with a 4:1:1:1 ratio Have as much distance between the subject and green screen as possible Get in close the action –use wide angle mode Try to use unusual camera angles Use a fast shutter speed Use high energy music with lots of fast cuts
