Deer Canyon has opted to move away from G.A.T.E. clustering and has evenly dispersed G.A.T.E. students throughout each grade level. Teachers are expected to differentiate for their gifted student.

Students will meet on a monthly basis for an enrichment opportunity. ◦ Field Trips & Activities (See schedule) The school district hosts two district-wide events each year. ◦ Activities & Chess Tournament Saturday, October 11th ◦ Spelling Bee Tuesday, March 17th
