Find your category of major and MyPlan will tell you what careers are related. Top Ten Lists Reports the most popular majors each year in America by type of degree. Majors Community Community featuring reviews, discussion forums and user groups that can help you learn about various majors from people already in them. Majors & Degrees Resource Center List of outside websites with information on Majors and Degrees is presented with brief descriptions. Includes “What Can I Do With a Major In...” and “Choosing A Major” sections.

5. Since you are a UTArlington student, you do not have to pay for these assessments. Click on the name of the one you want to take to access the test.

6. The next page will tell you about the test, how many questions there are and how much time it will take. Click on Start Test.

7. Lets look at the Personality Test. Make sure you read the instructions carefully for each test. Sometimes it may be tough to make a choice but you need to answer every question or your results won’t tell you anything.

8. The report tells you your four letter type and then goes on to explain what that means.

9. Here it tells you where you fall on the line between the two types - Introvert and Extrovert. Remember, there are no bad types or scores on any of the assessments. It is just who you are.

10. Here it gives a more brief description of your four letter personality code.

11. The next page in your report lets you choose what level of education you plan to complete and then gives you careers that may be satisfying based on your four letter personality type.

12. You can click on one that interests you and learn much more about that career.

13. If you look under the career title, you can see that you have a summary page with a video about that career, and then you can click the other links for salary information, educational requirements, employment outlooks, articles and a online community where you can ask questions from people doing the job.

16. If you like that career, you can click on the portfolio folder and add it to your portfolio on the left.

17. You will take all four assessments and each will suggest careers that may be satisfying to you based on your results.

21. After you have taken all four assessments, click on the CareerMatch tab on the top of the website, and it will take all four and put them together to give you a best fit list using all your results.

22. Look at any careers that rank 60% or above. These should match your assessment results most closely. Pull the ones you are interested into your portfolio so you can do further research on them at sites like www.bls.gov/oco or http://online.onetcenter.org/www.bls.gov/oco http://online.onetcenter.org/ You can also show your portfolio to your advisor during your advising appointments

23. If you feel like your results don’t fit you, feel free to retake any of the assessments. Remember the results are based on your answers. You will have access to this website forever. Just remember your log in information.
