11 Same Software, New Look The Truth-in-Taxation software (TNT) is a new addition to the ACT product line. As a product of ACT, we have been able to make significant improvements to the program. 11

12 Changes in the Software Availability of a web-based version - Easier to use - Secure data storage - Able to work from more than 1 computer - Able to keep data entry when new versions are released - Faster release of updates - Adaptable to your needs 12

13 Changes in the Software Ability to enter data for entities located in more than one county Ability to create the statement of budget increase for cities and counties 13

14 Changes in the Law HB2338 - Requires the county assessor-collector to post information on their web site regarding ad valorem tax rates for the past five tax years. 14

15 Changes in the Law Required to post: Adopted tax rate Maintenance and operations rate Debt rate Effective tax rate Effective M&O rate Rollback tax rate 15

16 Changes in the Law Because TNT is now available as a web-based version, you will only need to enter the data this year. In future years, TNT will recall and update the information for you. 16

29 Performance Enhancements On January 31, 2011 many users experienced slow network connectivity when processing online payments. Since then, we have taken several steps to improve our performance. 29

30 Security Settings The new security features had an unexpected impact on performance. Modifications were made to restore expected performance. 30

31 Continuing Improvements Oracle has supplied enhancements to their database to speed up the processing. 31

32 Continuing Improvements We are also planning on upgrading to the latest release of Oracle Weblogic Server on the application servers in order to improve performance. 32
