Version 1.3, Feb. 2013Welcome 3/4WW Winter School 2013 Goals Provide a training environment for WAVEWATCH III ® users and developers This workshop is geared towards direct collaborators of NCEP, and the NOPP waves teams. “head of the trunk” of svn server (model version 4.08). Developing of training material. Make this a standing UMD summer/winter course? Latest public (beta ?) release. 40 hours theory, 40 hours training (2 weeks). Previous training: Jan. 2010 training of 25 scientists in Hyderabad, India at INCOIS (Indian Center for Ocean Information Services). Nov. 2012 capacity building workshop in Kenya Nairobi with 12 students from 9 countries (JCOMM – TCP, 8 th storm surge and wind wave workshop).
