3 Science Main Objectives This Week: (Language Objective) Be able to discuss the difference between the theories of evolution and creationism Know how the theory of evolution accounts for the diversity of species Know how the fossil record is used to support or dispute evolution and creationism Know what Darwin’s theory of evoltion is

7 Parent Letter We are starting a chapter in Science that focuses on the “theory” of evolution. We will also be discussing creationism as a valid opinion as well. I encourage you to read Chapter 11 before your child does. If you are uncomfortable with any content, or are concerned about it’s presentation, please call me so that we can discuss this. I would be glad to work with you on assignment adaptations if you feel this is needed. I have reserved 1-2 pm next Wednesday for meetings regarding this topic.
