Hey Franklin, Capital letters, capital letters. When do I need to use capital letters? Good question Joe, Joe. Let’s look at some words that use capital letters.

Like the sentence: Would you like a cup of steaming hot tea? The first letter of a sentence begins with a capital letter.

Like : May I have cup of delicious creamy cocoa. The word I is always capitalized.

Like my name Joe Joe and my cat’s name Fi Fi. Names of people and animals begin with a captial letter.

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, The days of the week begin with a captial letter.

January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December Months of the year begin with a captial letter.

Joe Joe, I wonder if the boys and girls will remember all of these reasons to use capital letters. I don’t know Franklin. Let’s give them a quiz at the end of this presentation. Now let’s keep going.
