Management Development Programme (MDP) Education + training = Development A systematic process of growth and development by which the managers develop their abilities to manage. It is mainly concerned with improving the performance of managers by giving them opportunities for growth and development The role of the organization or company is to establish the programme & development opportunities for its present and potential managers

EVALUATION OF MDP Whether objectives of programme met or not The evaluation of the MDP should be done by some senior person in the organization The evaluation official must be clear about goals and objectives of evaluation Continuous and specific Areas of evaluation include managerial skills,knowledge,technical skills, and knowledge Evaluation may be conducted on training methods used Evaluated area may depend on content of each MDP
