3. NHL is a national hockey league. National doesn’t mean that you play soccer in a league. It means that you play world wide- national! NHL stands for National (please don’t make me go over that again!) Hockey (we already understand that, right?) 6. Defense is a cool thing because you are defending people from getting a goal. Here are defenders: Brayden Coburn, Kurtis Foste, Bruno Gervais, Nicklas Grossmann, Erik Gustafsson, Kent Huskins, Matt Konan, Oliver Lauridsen, Andreas Lilja, Brandon Manning, Andrej Meszaros, Jay Rosehill, Luke Schenn, and Kimmo Timonen! Fun Fact: Kimmo Timonen has recently reached his 1000 game being on the Flyers!!

7. Goalies are people who protect the goal. They are very important because how good they are a huge part of whether the other team(your opponent) gets a goal or not. The goalies on the Flyers team are… Ilya Bryzgalov and Steve Mason. Bryzgalov is more famous!!! Mason is the substitute.

8. o In hockey fighting happens a lot o the reasons are… some one checked a player on the other team, they were mad, or the person was playing unfairly and the refferee didn’t call it
