2 ASL 1- Doorbuster –shhh Each group needs a copy of “Unit A Key Questions” You do not need to write this, just be ready to answer (I will show you the sign for True/False ) True or False: When we are in “voice-off”, and I don’t know how to sign something, it is okay to use my voice. True or False: If I have a question, when in “voice- off” in class, it is okay to ask it with my voice. True or False: In “voice-off” time, I am allowed to write, gesture, sign, fingerspell, etc, as long as I am trying my best, and not using my voice During roll- review the Survival Signs on the Key Question sheet

3 Now, in groups of 2-4, prepare: A dialogue/skit Be sure each person signs at least one sentence (use the list to help you), and sign with each other. I can help you with signs! Voice off Example: (don’t worry about the sign order for now) – Person 1-Are you ready for the test? – Person 2-Yes, I’m ready. – Person3-What time is the test? – Person 4-I don’t know. Shhh- create these in silence !!!!! Use at least one sentence from these sections (depending on where your group is)--- #1-#10, #11-#20; #21-#30, #31-#43 5-10 min- ready? Present to the class! (you may stand by the wall anywhere, up front or in the back, etc.)

5 Ticket Out: ASL Club meets tomorrow (Thursday), before or after school Remember, “Survival Signs” test is tomorrow (like the practice one yesterday, using Quizstar and Youtube) Need help reviewing? Study online, or see me before/after school for tutorials.

6 ASL 3 and 4: Today: Intensive vocabulary list review– desks cleared off as usual -- I should see you with lists in front of you, signing, or reviewing them. Technology- if for lists, yes. Daily grade: at least get this far (unless I see you signing the entire time and you just need more time) – ASL 3- look over all ASL 1 lists– and begin ASL 2 if ready – ASL 4- glance through/ double check through all ASL 2 lists- and any ASL 1 if needed (if ready, you can look at ASL 3 packet) Note: I will still do the 1 on 1 ASL 1 interview-like a test for college credit (and a test grade); practiced in class tomorrow For the other vocabulary test: I will do a Quizstar test- recognize answers from a story (you will have a chance to practice this) so, study all vocabulary lists! After roll- I will teach you about Google Forms for daily grades (in voice-off). You will each be submitting online a form, checking which lists you reviewed.
