5 5 Personnel Changes since last Workshop  Personnel update: –Richard Lynch has rejoined the team as the JSC Systems Engineer –Robby Estep has taken over as the MSS Manager –Ray Ohl is the ISIM optical lead –Hal Bremmer is the project’s scheduling lead –Claudia Krogel has joined the Mission Systems Team –Lisa Link is the point of contact in the CM Office

6 6  General:  All observatory components, except for the spacecraft, have successfully completed their preliminary design reviews  ISIM CDR held in March  All science instruments have successfully completed their critical design reviews  LRD moving to June 2014; Mission CDR moving to March 2010  Will have 7 months of critical path slack; so the ship date only slipped by 8 months  Maintain ISIM deliveries  Maintain near term OTE, Sunshield and Spacecraft milestones  Not sure about plans for the next Partner’s Workshop with the upcoming major reviews  Observatory:  Lower level Spacecraft PDR’s underway  JWST full scale core test is underway  Completed the Sunshield Membrane Management System (MMS) delta PDR  First spacecraft simulator delivered to the ISIM software lab at GSFC  Ground System:  The Ka band upgrades required to support JWST L&EO and normal operations have been completed at the DSN Canberra and Goldstone Sites  NGAS hosted an open house to mark the grand opening of the “Webb Telescope Control Room” in M8. The control room will be operated using CCTS hardware and software Project Status
