Shelter – can live in lots of places, desert, North America.
Family – Very important, help babies learn to fly

They adjust to the city or the dessert or the woods
Hawks change their diet
They can eat mice, squirrels, pigeons and even rattlesnakes

Hawks can sit and wait for their prey
When they see their prey, they swoop down and grab it with their talons

7. Adaptation Hawks are generalists Generalists can live in many places
They can build nests and raise their young in trees, cliffs, or windmills
As a result they live longer than other birds
