Leadership, Management Style, and Teambuilding “If everyone isn’t committed to the success of their teammates individually and collectively, then you don’t have a real team” (Carley, 1996, p. 41). Factions are common since organizations are mirrors of our society and are, therefore, dysfunctional (Kofman and Senge, 1993). Three problems that emerge from society into our organizations: fragmentation, competition, and reactiveness (Kofman and Senge, 1993).

Leadership, Management Style, and Teambuilding Teambuilding Decrease fragmentation/ competition and replace with supportive relationships. Open lines of communication. Working together for common goals. Recognizing the viewpoints and resources of everyone. GOAL = Teambuilding becomes WTC standard operating procedure from top administration through the ranks.
