After logging on, go to the main menu. There the authorized Animators can access their cases and begin their coordination. Above you can see the username and the option to “Close the session”.

The option “Casos” in the main menu, will lead you to the page that contains the sub-menu Casos. This menu will allow you to navigate through the different cases and see the table with cases pending acceptance. (clic “Casos”

Here we can see the sub-menu “Casos” and find the pending cases. Pending cases are those that were brought up by Animators from countries, whose participation was requested.

In the link “Gestión” you can either accept or refuse a case. If you accept it, the system will update the table and send the case to the link Casos “en proceso” (in process) If the case is refused, a screen will appear to justify the reasons for the refusal.

In this screen you write the reasons for refusing the case. The case then will go to the page “Casos Rechazados” (Refused cases) Caso no corresponde al país.

To open a case click the option “Inicio de Caso”.

Select the Animators to whom you wish to direct the case. Write here the data of the case: (approx. 8 word description), with the data of the child, date of the event, etc. At the end of entering the pertinent data, please click the option to save (“Guardar”). The system will generate a new case that will be accessible to the other Animators.

Once the form is saved, the case can be monitored from the link cases “ Iniciados”. This table will give you the synthesis and the present state of the cases that you initiated.

Only the Animator that opened the case can modify the data entered. This can be done by clicking on “Descripción” (Description). (Click “Descripción”)

In the field “Gestión” you can click the option “Editar” to make modifications. Every time a case is edited, an electronic mail is sent to the Animators involved.

You can click the field “Descripción” to access all the data for each case. This table shows the cases that other Animators and you have initiated, that have already been accepted and are presently in the process of investigation.

This table shows the cases that you initiated and that, for some reason have been finished or cancelled. Only the Animator that originated the case can finish or cancel it.

The cases “Rechazados” (refused) are those initiated by other Animators and that for some reason you have had to refuse.

The option “Animadores” gives us access to the complete data for all the Animators, the Coordinator and the technical support of the system. (Click the option” Animadores”)

The information on the Animators will allow you to maintain a fluid communication with the others by mail, phone, fax, etc. It also gives access to information on the support personnel to help solve any problem or send suggestions with respect to the system.

The option Foros (Forums) will allow us to start an interactive forum on-line related to a topic or case with the participation of the other Animators. (Click the option Foros)

Forum’s topic. Comments entered. Option to add a new topic to the forum. Option to add a document to share with the other Animators.

The option “ Información” will provide direct access to complementary material that will help you to improve the functioning of your role. (Click the option “Información”)

Direct access to all the on- line newspapers of Central America and the Caribbean. Links to websites of NGOs and Regional and International Organizations Information on Events related to children. Gallery of pictures of children.

The option “Estadísticas” shows indicators of the activity being carried out within the Coordination system.. (Click on Estadísticas)

This option will give you a global view of the number and state of the cases entered in the system, classified by class and country.
