3 GIE Career Pathways Pilot Focus on low income, age 16-26 target population Common Elements across 8 states: Coaches and cohorts assigned to students to support success Access to remediation, basic training, industry fundamentals and occupation specific Multiple career pathways leading to alternative high demand occupations In some states, piloting accelerated degree programs

4 Three Main Principles: Targeted outreach and support for students, including career coaching (intake, assessments, learning map) Pathways system leading to portable, articulated portfolio of credentials and degrees (basic and industry specific training) Employer involvement in all phases (job placement and retention)
