4 Norman Foster Millau viaduct
The largest (2.4km) cable supported bridge in Europe over a river. At 270 m above the river to span the gap between the plateaux on either side of the river. 7 pillars instead of the usual 2 or 3. The bridge has a slight curve to avoid drivers having the sensation of floating.

16 British Airways chief executive Willie Walsh has waived his right to the bonus he is entitled to after the airline racked up almost £1bn in profits in the past year. 18 monochronic v polychronic time systems
In a monochronic time system: things are done one at a time time is segmented into precise, small units. Under this system time is scheduled, arranged and managed. In a polychronic time system a more fluid approach is taken to scheduling time tradition and relationships valued more than tasks multitasking is common.
