SWBAT explain the ideas of government Americans got from British traditions such as Rule of Law, Limited Government, and Individual Rights. SWBAT explain the ideas of government Americans got from John Locke’s writings such as Natural Rights. SWBAT explain the ideas of government Americans got from the Baron of Montequieu’s writings such as Separation of Powers and Checks and Balances.
