5. 5 Progress - Site I and Site II  Till June, 2013 technical design for pilotproject accomplished  In July, 2013 construction permit received, pilotproject construction works done, technological equipment supplied and installed  Till December, 2013 pilotproject works were done  In December report about pilotproject was received by Contractor  On 28th December Engineer approved submitted pilot stage final report and recommended to continue the preparation for the further implementation of the remediation project  According to agreement and FIDIC regulations construction supervision was performed all period  Till March, 2014 remediation work technical design accomplished

6. 6 Progress - Site III Prepared Project Proposal amendments according works in Site III (Ovi Riga Ltd territory) On 13th November the amendments nr.1 for individual project CH05 were signed On 13th November there was signed an agreement with "PB Inženiertehniskais birojs" Ltd about the project procurement documentation development for works in Site III In February there was announced procurement for remediation works and in 10th May there was announced winner. Period of possible complaints ends on 20th May In March there was announced procurement for remediation work supervision and in 29th April there was announced winner. No complaints were received

8. 8 Factors impacted Project implementation Procurement for remediation works in Site I and II is closed tender Complain about procurement for remediation works in Site I and II was submitted by participant which was rejected in first phase It is planned that remediation work agreement for Site III will be signed till June, 2014

9. 9 Publicity and Swissness  There was TV story in Swiss TV about the Project  In April, 2013 – Swiss Environmental Engineering students visited the Project site  Publications made in SES’s and MoEPRD web page  Swiss expert provided consultations about procurement documentation of remediation works
