K-5 Gifted Inclusion Model Gifted superior cognitive students are clustered together and served in the regular classroom through differentiated instruction with the support of the gifted intervention specialist. * Students needs are met in the classroom * Instructional decisions are based on regular assessments assessments * Teacher and intervention specialist work together to the meet the needs of the gifted learners needs of the gifted learners

5. What is Differentiated Instruction? Differentiated instruction is a philosophy in which the teacher is aware that students differ in how they learn and that the best teachers are actively responsive to those differences.
