Cologne Cathedral: Work recommenced in the 19th century and was completed, to the original plan, in 1880. It is 144.5 metres (474 ft) long, 86.5 m (284 ft) wide and its towers are approximately 157 m (515 ft) tall.

7. Hannover State:Lower Saxony Population: 522,686 Area : 204.01 km² Each year there are big exhibitions (fairs) in Hanover. There are no rules for certain themes. Always something new.

8. BRAUNSCHWEIG State: Lower Saxony Population: 248.867 Area: 192,13 km² Football: Eintracht Braunschweig plays in the second Bundesliga. In Brunswick is a very colored house. It was designed by James Rizzi.

9. SALZGITTER State: Lower Saxony Population: 102.394 Area: 223,91 km² Salzgitter AG: The Salzgitter AG is a German steel company based in Salzgitter. It’s one of the biggest steel companies of the world. Salzgitter consists of 31 suburbs.

10. Goslar State: Lower Saxony Population: 40.989 Area: 92,57 km² Every year there is a Christmas market in Goslar. A special highlight is the Christmas forest. Everywhere there are pine trees with lighting chains and small stalls for drinks like mulled wine and hot chocolate. There are many stalls with handmade items. For example, clothing, things for the kitchen, jewelery, candles, wooden angels and much more. Always beautiful to watch and enjoy.

11. Baddeckenstedt The „Samtgemeinde“ Baddeckenstedt consists of 18 villages with a population of 10.500. It belonges to the city of Wolfenbüttel.
