5. TRENDS IN THE TOTAL GHG EMISSIONS Total GHG emissions per sectors for 1988 – 2008, Gg CO2 - eq. In 1988 the GHG emissions were 128015.2 Gg CO2 – equivalent (Gg CO2 - eq.), dropping to 74317.8 Gg CO2 - eq. in 2008. The biggest share in the total GHG emissions for the 2008 – 69.5 % belongs to “Energy” sector. Second is the “Waste” with 14 % of the National emissions, while third is “Industry Processes” – 8.7 %.

19. The level of the PM10 air pollution is basic problem before the air quality on the whole country territory. The trend is kept throughout the years.
