3 Square Properties: The four sides are equal in length. There are two pairs of adjacent sides equal in length. There are two pairs of opposite sides equal in length. There are four angles.

4 Rectangle Properties: There are two pairs of parallel opposite sides. There are two pairs of opposite sides equal in length. There are four right angles.

5 Rhombus Properties: The four sides are equal in length. There are two pairs of parallel opposite sides. There are two pairs of opposite sides equal in length. There are two pairs of parallel opposite sides.

6 Parallelogram Properties: There are two pairs of parallel opposite sides. There are two pairs of opposite sides equal in length.

7 Kite Properties: There are two pairs of adjacent sides equal in length. There are no parallel sides.

9 What is Quadrilaterals? In geometry, a quadrilateral is a polygon with four 'sides' or edges and four vertices or corners. Sometimes, the term quadrangle is used, for analogy with triangle, and sometimes tetragon for consistency with pentagon (5-sided), hexagon (6-sided) and so on.The word quadrilateral is made of the words quad and lateral.
