2. log into www.animoto.com The first thing you probably will see is a screen that looks similar to this. When you get here, click on “log in”. www.animoto.com

3. Click on “create” to get started.

4. Select a style (free accounts will only allow certain styles and 30 second videos).

5. Click on “create video”. You can always go back and change the style after you have begun.

6. Title your video. Title your video.

7. Add your name.

8. Time to start creating your video! Every text box will allow 40 characters on the top and 50 on the bottom. You can add as many of the text boxes as your time allotment permits.

9. You can add pictures or videos to your story.

10. Animoto has pictures you can use or upload your own. Make sure the pic/video comes through in the correct format. For example, a JPG/JPEG should work, but a GIF might not.

11. You can add more than one picture at a time by holding down the control key. They have all been selected, so just click on “Add 3 Items”, and they will be placed into your story with your text boxes.

12. You can also add captions to the pictures you choose.

13. You can move tiles wherever you want by dragging them.

15. They have tons to choose from, or you can upload your own. Song length will determine how long your video is. You can always upload the same song twice if you want to keep the same music going and increase the length of your video.

16. Once you have all the pics, videos and songs you want, you can preview the video.

17. If you are satisfied, you can produce which saves the video.

18. You can go back and edit as much as you want!
