6 What paraphrasing is NOT Do NOT use quotes out of laziness.  Quotes in scientific writing are RARE and only used to convey an experts opinion or a unique turn of phrase

7 What paraphrasing is Presentations, whether in written or verbal format, should reflect YOUR understanding and YOUR conclusions This means that you should really absorb the material and present it in a unique way that addresses your goals. Use scientific vocabulary, but define it when you first use it.
