RDA: BSR-QUICK KALININGRAD : A RUSSIAN REGION, A EUROPEAN OPPORTUNITY “Qualification, Innovation, Cooperation and Keybusiness for Small and Medium Enterprises in the Baltic Sea Region” BSR – QUICK Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007 – 2013: Priority 1: Fostering of innovations across the BSR - 1.1 Support for innovation sources 2009 - 2011 LP is the Hanseatic Parliament. Partners are 29 chambers as strong SME promoters, 8 universities as innovation promoters and 6 public administrations. The number of 44 partners is required to reach SMEs in 29 regions of all 11 BSR countries. Slide 6 of 28

RDA: BSR-QUICK: objectives & activities KALININGRAD : A RUSSIAN REGION, A EUROPEAN OPPORTUNITY 1.Strengthening innovations and improve support for SMEs: a) Further development of existing SME promoting network of the chambers from 11 BSR countries. b) Construction of a SME specific innovation-promoting infrastructure "Baltic Sea Academy" and development of cooperation between universities and SMEs. Ensure close cooperation of both networks c) Putting into action of comprehensive innovation concept and creation of 4 - 6 innovation clusters, orientated specifically at SMEs and regional strengths. d) Lasting increase of the competitiveness and the productivity, realization of comprehensive product and process innovations and clear growth of R&D operations.
