To transport oxygen and nutrients around your body and to help to get rid of wastes

PULMONARY
the flow of blood through HEART, LUNGS and back to the HEART again.

SYSTEMIC
Moves oxygen-RICH blood to ORGANS and BODY TISSUES and back to the heart again.

CORONARY
Describes flow of blood to HEART TISSUES

ARTERIES
Move blood AWAY from heart
Have THICK & ELASTIC walls, made of smooth muscle
Are connected to VENTRICLES in the heart.
Carry oxygen-rich blood

VEINS
Move blood TOWARD the heart.
Have one-way VALVES
Are squeezed by SKELETAL muscles.
Carry blood with waste materials and that is oxygen-POOR

Connect arteries to veins
